29 VETERANS RECEIVED MALAYSIA SERVICE MEDAL(PJM)
SIPITANG, 18 April 2014 - In recognition of the sacrifices and contributions of former fighters of the country, a total of 29 Malaysian Ex-Servicemen Association Branch Sipitang receive Service Medal Malaysia (PJM) in a ceremony at the Sipitang Mini Hall Library , Sipitang, Sabah.
VETERAN ATM URGED TO BE UNITED IN THE ASSOCIATION
TUARAN, 17 April 2014 - The veteran Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) are urged to unite and work together in an association. Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Sabah branch, Lt. Col. Adnan Ariffin said every veteran should understand and know all the incentives, benefits and privileges extended by the government to help the army veterans.
IPOH, April 15 - "I lost my leg while fighting, but my passion in maintaining the security of the country was never lost," said a retired soldier, Supaman Taib.
1,000 VETERANS RECEIVED AID
KOTA KINABALU, April 11, 2014- About 1,000 veterans of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) is recorded as beneficiaries in Sabah. The Director General of the Department of Veterans Affairs (JHEV), Major General Datuk Mohd Noor Daud said, however, it is relatively small number considering the registration of veterans in the Sabah had reached 4,500 people.
JHEV WILL REVIEW VETERANS COST OF LIVING AID
KOTA KINABALU, April 10- The Department of Veterans Affairs Malaysian Armed Forces (JHEV) will review the cost of living aid to the military veterans living in the state due to the increase in the living cost nowadays.
