As many future pensioners and MAF veterans are unclear about their direction after the end of their service, the DVA has introduced the Profiling Test to assist them to make the correct decision.
This test is expected to help prevent MAF veterans from making mistakes when choosing suitable resettlement training to assist them to secure a second career or to become an entrepreneur. The Profiling Test is a mechanism to evaluate a person’s personality.
It is aimed at identifying an individual’s behavioural tendencies, emotional orientation and to state the personality type of each individual. Based on the personal profiling of an individual, advice and suggestions can be given in the following aspects:
- Self-improvement
- Enhancing team spirit
- Leadership style
- Enhancing creative traits
- Study skills
- Appropriate choice of resettlement training
- Suitable types of job
The result of this test will help future veterans to know themselves better. Even though this system is not absolutely accurate, at the very least it can identify their strengths and weaknesses. It also gives guidance to future veterans on improving themselves and rectifying their weaknesses.
In addition, future veterans may also learn about the suitable fields of courses and careers to undertake based on their profile and personality.
