Service Gratuity

Service Gratuity will be paid in one lump sum at the end of service, while service pension will be paid to the pensioner until his demise. Service pension and gratuity are payable to officers and serviceman with total reckonable service exceeding 20 years (officers) and 21 years (servicemen) with the exception of termination/ retirement on medical grounds.

 Terminal Gratuity

This gratuity may be granted to short service commissioned (SSC) officers who have completed the SSC tenure or regular commissioned officers who retire after service of less than 20 years.
